A Malachite Kingfisher exits the water after having dived in to catch a small crustacean.
Marievale Bird Sanctuary, South Africa

NOTE: I normally don't do this, and if I do I disclose it like I will now - I cloned out a branch elbow in the top left corner and added some canvas at the top as the framing was odd here. With the difficulty these birds present, I wanted to make this image presentable until I get the "perfect" natural capture.
